At Filton Hill Primary School we headed out in search of birds going about their springtime duties. We spotted crows, starlings, robins, blue tits and even some seagulls.
After we studied how birds build their nests and followed instructions to make our own. There was some epic teamwork and the children enjoyed putting real eggs in their nests.
Back around the campfire the children choose some of their favourite songs to sing, while we toasted marshmallows on sticks.
