Thank you Watermore Primary School for inviting us to come and lead Forest School Sessions with Year 2 today.
The children were amazing and we were suitably impressed with their inquisitive attitude and enthusiasm.
We spent the morning searching for the first signs of spring and in particular, exploring our woodland birds. We went bird spotting and then learnt how to make bird nests.
During choosing time, many of the children were keen to make homes for other woodland creatures. Others enjoyed bug hunting, using hammocks, climbing on the ropes and drawing pictures with pastels.
We finished the session singing around the fire and toasting marshmallows.
