An amazing day; a perfect Forest School experience with our Nursery children at Easton Primary. The children were fully engaged in a variety of tasks, choosing their own learning and making great discoveries.
The children enjoyed digging mud, mixing with water and creating their own paint. This occupied a number of children for the whole session, using their imagination to paint their homes.
There was much enthusiasm for chopping wood and the children showed good coordination and strength when using the mallet and axe.
The children enjoyed singing songs around a fire that was created using the wood that we had chopped. The singing continued all the way back to the classroom!
