The Reception children at Filton Hill Primary School became treasure hunters first thing this morning. They discovered golden leaves, multiple feathers and a catalogue of other delightful items.
After, it was down to the woodland to learn how to use a hand drill. Tim explained how we could make holes in conkers and make a number line to help us with our counting. Many were very keen to give this a go, while others took on the challenge of the extreme rope course.
During the morning a dead tree was discovered and it was agreed that next week we might use the wood to learn how to use a bow saw. Looks like we’ll be taking a trip down to the tool shed before next week!
