We had a splendid day in the sunshine meeting all the new reception children at Filton Hill Primary School. It was very impressive to see how much progress and independence they had gained since the beginning of term. They are definitely all ready to go full time next week.
The children learnt the rules of Forest School today and began to explore the woodland. There were games of hide and seek, home building for Basil and plenty of hammock swinging. All the children made fabulous necklaces or medals, carefully using their fine motor skills.
Next week the children, in their words, want to make bigger and longer dens. Let’s see what we can do!
