Such a privilege to be out in the sunshine today. Actually we”ve been very fortunate on our Thursdays this term, with seven dry days.
We had great fun playing Sleeping Squirrels and Meet a Tree, to begin our sessions today. The activities required the children to show empathy, be supportive and at the same time use all their senses.
We introduced the idea of hammer leaf printing today. The children thoroughly enjoyed getting to grips (quite literally) with a mallet and making some beautiful prints in the process.
As it was our last session with these groups, we had a big fire to finish off, with squash and biscuits. Finally we shared some of our favourite memories of the term.
