It was a lesson in survival at Filton Primary School today. Monsoon style downpours were the order of the day; not that it bothered the children in the slightest. In fact it probably enhanced their learning experience; it almost felt cruel to drag them away from their activities at the end of the session.
Jumping in puddles, catching the rain on the end of their tongue and creating super mud pies was a must today!
The new forest creatures were a huge hit and made friends with the children very quickly. Keep your eyes peeled children, as Mr Owl is somewhere in your school grounds – maybe he’ll return next week!
