Our Easton Reception children are really getting into the swing of things now. They are working and playing well, both independently and collaboratively.
Another fabulous day, with a range of activities. It all started with a thorough treasure hunt around the school grounds; we discovered feathers, seeds, buttercups, forget-me-nots, catkins and unusual leaves to name but a few.
There was an opportunity to create fat balls for the birds and the occasional cosy nest, besides all the usual activities.
A highlight for us today was when an enthusiastic girl used binoculars for the first time. On peering through the lenses, she declared, “It gets bigger!” at the top of her voice with the largest grin on her face. 😆
