This week at both Filton Primary and Easton Primary Academy we’ve been embracing the mealworm, while making nut free bird feeders to hang in the trees. This was a sticky and messy job, which made it all the more fun! Now installed, we just need to wait to see if the birds are attracted to our tasty treats.
The children were also set a challenge of finding Basil Brush by following a rope trail blindfolded. This was a tricky task and involved us relying on senses other than our eyes.
It was really cold on Thursday and some of the children were getting tingly fingers. We therefore had to learn the penguin song to warm up and then topped it off with a huge fire. By which point we had all thawed and we’re needing to lose layers!
