Stone Age Workshop

Awesome day today delivering our ‘Stone Age Experience!’ at Harewood Junior School in Gloucester.  The children were inquisitive learners and had a really good go at all our hands on activities.

The children were engaged in lighting fires the stone age way, building shelters from wood and animal skins, making pots and grinding grain ready for cooking flat bread.

There was an opportunity to dress up in authentic stone age clothes; some children enjoyed it so much that they came back and did it again at lunchtime!

Despite all this, a highlight for a lot of children was using a spear to hunt down the boar. (Don’t panic, it was only a sack)
