So amazed at the achievements of the Nursery children at Easton Academy Primary today; sometimes it’s easy to forget that a lot of them are still only three. Yes, three!
Today they sensibly cooked on an open fire and enjoyed eating the produce. They thought really carefully about the dangers and managed risk well.
Some children wanted to know how the cooking sticks had been prepared and so we taught a few to use a knife and do some whittling. One boy whittled a whole stick and was excited to explain the whole process to his teacher.
There was plenty of time to play in the frosty sunshine and building rope swings and relaxing in the hammocks proved very popular.
