Partnership with the Forestry Commission

We are very pleased to announce that we have signed a partnership agreement with the Forestry Commission, thus enabling us to offer Forest School Sessions in two beautiful woodlands here in the South West.

The first is Overscourt Wood near Siston Common. This is a largely new woodland, with pockets of mature woodland.  It covers a site of approximately 200 acres, so there’s plenty of room to run about and roam free!

The second woodland is Ashton Hill, near the village of Failand.  Ashton Hill was formally a part of the nearby Tyntesfield Estate in Wraxall. Consequently, many of the larger trees were planted in the 19th century. The Giant Sequoia grove dates from this period of estate landscaping.  They are a spectacular site.

We are planning to take some of our school groups to these woodlands, but we will also be able to offer birthday parties and other Forest School events at these locations.  If you have something in mind, please get in touch.
