An amazing afternoon at Filton Hill Primary School, with the children showing great independence and doing Forest School exactly how it’s supposed to be done!
The session started with a round of sleeping squirrels, before we launched into our main activities.
Today we took an animal theme and the children particularly enjoyed searching for bugs and trying to identify them. Others enjoyed digging in the mud and splashing in the puddles that had formed in the morning rain.
At the end there was time for a hot drink around the fire and group singing of the Bug Hunters song.
