So after a long winter break, it was back to Easton Primary Academy today. We met our new groups from the Nursery department, who looked splendid in their puddle suits!
Hide and seek with Basil came first, before we set off in search of woodland treasure. It’s amazing what you find when you’ve got your eyes to the ground.
Tim constructed a rope swing in one of the trees and this proved very popular. So much so, that a neat orderly queue was necessary while we waited to take turns. This was a good opportunity to practise counting to ten as we gave each child an equal amount of pushes.
Jane found herself surrounded by children who were desperate to play the guitar and soon there were some lovely songs being sung.
The fire was a welcome sight today and we really enjoyed the children singing some of their favourite class songs
