Oh my! It was all about making the best of a wet situation today and embracing the mud.
The children didn’t need much encouragement with this and were soon serving up some rather marvellous mud pie cupcakes! The sawdust sprinklings were an added bonus!
Due to our poor weather forecasting skills, we were without a main shelter for the session. Thankfully the children were on the case and made us some substantial shelters for us to eat our biscuits in.
During the session we all congregated to make some very colourful Christmas Tree decorations. I’m sure these will look rather special when the children hang them on their trees at home.
This was our last session of the year, so SG Forest School are officially on holiday!
Happy Christmas everybody.
