As we write this the heavens have opened and the first rain in what feels like ages, has appeared from the sky. In contrast, today in Easton was the complete opposite, with another glorious autumn day.
Today’s sessions started with a blindfolded rope trail through the forest, with an unexpected surprise at the end of the rope. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were keen to try it again, but this time against the clock.
We brought along some wood cookies and after a discussion about things that were special to us, we decorated them with pastels. After that the children skillfully used the hand drill to make a hole, add string and finally hung their decorations in the trees.
These were the final sessions before the autumn break, so we’d like to wish everyone in Easton a great holiday and we’ll see you all in November.
