So the autumn leaves continue to inspire the children’s creative work at Easton Primary Academy. The colours seem to be getting better by the day at the moment and more and more leaves are tumbling to the ground. Infact the children thoroughly enjoyed catching falling leaves!
Some of the children chose to use silver foil to do leaf rubbings and then used the imprints to create leaf pictures. Others collected their favourite leaves and made autumn collages.
There were lots of bugs about today, including, centipedes, millipedes, cardinal beetles and lots of spiders! These finds inspired us to write a song that we called ‘Bug Hunting!’
Besides all the usual play, there was time for a hot drink and a biscuit, then it was back to class.
