It’s conker season! At Easton Primary Academy we’ve been watching the conkers and tracking their progress since early summer. Today was finally the day we got to collect them!
Once we had collected a good haul, we set to work with our hand drill. Holes in place, we then threaded them on twine to create medals, necklaces and bracelets.
It was reassuring to find that the children have not lost their fire starting skills over the summer break, so we were able to have a cup of hot chocolate with our biscuits.
Looking forward to continuing the work that we started with this group of children in Reception.
