Well what a super day at St Stephens today. Wonderful enquiring children with an appetite for the great outdoors; just up our street. The children demonstrated amazing team work and cooperation in our starter activity, leading each other blindfolded to meet a tree. Lots of the children were keen to cut wood cookies with the bow saw and then decorated them beautifully with charcoal, chalk and pastels. Working independently, another group devised a pully system for lifting a very heavy log. While another group think they may have discovered a buried treasure. Hot chocolate around the Kelly Kettle was a big hit as ever.
