It was a creative sort of day at Easton Primary Academy today. After kitting ourselves out in full weather gear and dodging a few showers, the fun began. The freshly wet soil lent itself to digging and mud pies, while others created their own paint to decorate the trees. After discovering some drum shaped logs, a drum kit was created and before long everyone was queuing up for a go. One of the children suggested we sing the song ‘Tomorrow’ from Annie. This resulted in a full Forest School band with log keyboard, guitar, microphone and violin. The children’s climbing confidence is growing at a rapid rate, and this was demonstrated on a low ropes course. The children have left us with lots of ideas for next week; looks like we’re going to be busy again!
